Housing
CAMP gives students in the program the opportunity to live their first year of college at the , which are student apartments about 1.5 miles from the University of North Georgia (果冻传媒). The apartments include three to four rooms in each. This will give the students the college experience of leaving home and becoming independent.
Although this option is only given to CAMP students for the first year, they are better equipped to live on their own and it saves them money. Also, it is proven that students who live on campus tend to do better academically and mentally.
In addition to becoming part of the CAMP family, the student builds long-lasting friendships and bonds with their roommates. They are incorporated into the community of the housing students themselves. Being in contact with roommates and other housing students gives the students people they can identify with at the college and can ask for help.
If you are interested in becoming a housing student, please do not hesitate to contact Thalia at 678-717-3482 or email.
