Interdisciplinary Leadership Minor

The Interdisciplinary Leadership Minor aims to equip you with an integrated understanding of leadership theory and practice. The minor focuses on training the best leaders through teaching, research, and service in order to acquire the skills necessary to generate, disseminate, integrate, and apply knowledge in practical settings while engaging in collaborative activities across departments at ��ý.

Leadership Tracks

Organizational Leadership Track

The Organizational Leadership track consists of courses that focus on organizational structure, organizational success, and management in organizational settings. Course options are from the Business, Psychology, Communications, and Sociology departments.

Students who pursue this track gain leadership competencies necessary for leading within organizations.

This track is appropriate for those interested in complementing their major with skills and knowledge to lead in the workplace.

Leadership in Society Track

The Leadership in Society track consists of courses that focus on understanding your community, communication, and interacting with your community. Course options are from the Communications, Human Services Delivery and Administration, and Sociology departments.

Students who pursue this track gain leadership competencies necessary for leading within their community.

This track is appropriate for those interested in complementing their major with skills and knowledge related to becoming a community leader.

Global Leadership Track

The Global Leadership track consists of courses that focus on leadership from an international perspective. Course options are from the Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Military Science departments.

Students who pursue this track gain leadership competencies that emphasize leading in a globalized society.

This track is appropriate for those interested in complementing their major with skills and knowledge to lead across cultures.
