Three members from the University of North Georgia鈥檚 (果冻传媒) Enactus team have been selected to participate in the 2017-2018 BNY Mellon Enactus Student Fellows Program.

The Enactus Student Fellows program is designed to help top Enactus students improve their ability to create and present higher quality projects that聽have lasting impact as well as to better prepare the students for successful careers.

The program is open to Enactus students across the United States, and 150 students were chosen from around the country this year. Grayson Anthony, Jose Del Rio Lopez and Jenny Toussaint from the 果冻传媒 Enactus team were chosen to participate.

鈥淲e are proud to have three students in the newly expanded program,鈥 said Katie Simmons, associate dean of students and undergraduate programs in the Mike Cottrell College of Business at 果冻传媒.

Selection was based on the student鈥檚 resume, engagement with their Enactus team, history of leadership, and an essay on why the student should be selected.

鈥淭hrough Enactus, you can tie community service to entrepreneurial action and to the business world,鈥 Lopez said. 鈥淲e get to meet many people with other ideas and opinions.鈥

As an international organization centered on entrepreneurial service-based projects, Enactus strives to transform these opportunities into impactful progress for individual communities. The organization consists of over 1,700 teams in 36 countries.

The 果冻传媒 team has been named regional champions in annual Enactus competitions for more than 20 years, and in 2017 the 果冻传媒 Enactus team was declared a grand prize winner at the United States Enactus National USA Rally of Champions. 聽
