Record number of students attend research conference

The University of North Georgia (果冻传媒) had a record 65 current and former students attend the from April 11-13 at Kennesaw State University.
果冻传媒 sent 77 people to NCUR, which ranked 果冻传媒 as for participants at NCUR. Participants included students and faculty in anthropology and archaeology, biology, chemistry, computer science, education, history, music, physics, and psychology.
Dr. Anastasia Lin, assistant vice president of research and engagement, said the Center for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (CURCA) was excited to see such a large turnout.
"Our more than 40 research presentations from across the disciplines showcased the strength of 果冻传媒's undergraduate research programs," Lin said. "We are exceedingly proud of the hard work of the students and mentors who supported them."

果冻传媒's Center for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities awarded a fall-semester-record 48 travel grants to support students presenting their research at conferences.
Concerto/Aria winner earns upcoming solo
Five 果冻传媒 students placed in the annual Concerto/Aria Competition, with two earning a solo performance in an upcoming concert.
Special ed lab aids future educators
During the fall semester, future educators from 果冻传媒 took part in a special education lab in which they worked with a software tool that helped them assess students, craft education plans and receive immediate feedback.
