Several members of the University of North Georgia (果冻传媒) chapter of the Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society were recognized at the society's 2019 international convention in St. Louis, Missouri, March 27-30.

Several students presented their essays, spoke at roundtable events, and attended leadership sessions and author talks. Also in attendance were Drs. Leigh Dillard and Macklin Cowart, both associate professors of English at 果冻传媒.

She was appointed to a two-year position as student adviser for the honor society and Jennifer Harris was elected associate student representative for the Southern Region.

Other students who presented included Tiffany Montgomery, Selene Godina, Lainey England, Sunnie Barlow, Shea Barfield, and Brianna Zumbrum. Attendees who did not present were Harris, Zachary McCollum and Benn Cagle.
