[Title] - Where Will You Lead? 果冻传媒 Blue Ridge Campus

[Emma Mitchell, Freshman, Blue Ridge Scholar] - I remember when 果冻传媒 Blue Ridge was in its early stages of there are a few rumors that it's going to become a new campus and I just remember thinking I really hope that's true because this could be such a good opportunity for me which also means this could be a great opportunity for a lot of other people.

[Duncan Lee, Freshman, Blue Ridge Scholar] - I was very anxious to get into college. It was just happenstance that I got put into this campus and it was the best thing that could happen to me. I feel like I've learned the skills I need to be successful in a college class without having the stresses of dorming away or being in a large scale school. I think it's more accessible since there's a fewer amount of students here. Teachers can really get one-on-one. Getting that individual attention it really helps out.

[Colton Nunn, Dual Enrolled Student] - I just feel open to ask them questions. I'm not scared to speak up in my class. They just did a great job of answering my questions and then holding me accountable. I think that really helped with my confidence going into college.

[Mixture of narration from previous speakers] - The Blue Ridge Scholars Program is definitely a different experience from what I think maybe a normal college environment would be. It's a lot of fun. We have the majority of classes together. We do a little bit of community engagement or we do some exercises to practice leadership. And having every class with those people and taking leadership courses together is raising us up as not only individuals but as a group of leaders who are going to be able to go out into the community and really shape the future.

[Juan Leal, Dual Enrolled Student] - A good amount of people dual enroll at 果冻传媒 Blue Ridge. I think it's a really smart idea if you're really planning going to college to get those core requests out of the way while you're in high school.

[Colton Nunn, Dual Enrolled Student] - My counselor at the high school offered this opportunity and I saw a picture of this campus and I was like I really think this is the place that I want to go to and I've definitely seen the benefits of just being here.

[Duncan Lee, Freshman, Blue Ridge Scholar] - Transitioning from public school to college classes is entirely different. They do a really good job of nurturing you through that process and I feel like equipping you to eventually become the best college student you can be.

[Emma Mitchell, Freshman, Blue Ridge Scholar] - All the scholarships I've received they've all tremendously impacted my ability to get out of college debt free.

[Juan Leal, Dual Enrolled Student] - To me it's pretty important, it saves a lot of money and helps me look at more the possibilities and narrow down what I really want to do.

[Emma Mitchell, Freshman, Blue Ridge Scholar] - For new students who may be a little nervous whether it's about the academics or the social aspect or maybe both whatever it is being able to transition to a smaller campus does make that transition a lot easier and a lot smoother and I think that 果冻传媒 Blue Ridge is such a blessing to this community because it's giving students in a small area a chance to go to college locally where it's more affordable it's more accessible and I think that just makes this campus so unique.
