TimeFrame – 果冻传媒 Art History Club

The mission of TimeFrame - 果冻传媒 Art History Club is to provide opportunities for 果冻传媒 students to engage in activities and to network in the fields of art history, art criticism, art education, and curatorial studies. TimeFrame activities emphasize professional development and networking. They include presentations of special interest art history topics by students, faculty, and guest speakers; debates on contemporary art world topics; opportunities for focused undergraduate research in art history, art criticism, art education, and curatorial studies; curatorial opportunities for students (student-curated exhibitions); community outreach activities in art education (educating in the arts through community partnerships); and group visits to collections, museums, artists' studios, and galleries.

Art Guild

The Art Guild, previously Spectrum, is one of the department’s art clubs on the Dahlonega campus that welcomes all faculty and students. Their goal is to create an art-focused community, plan art-filled events and workshops, sales, and trips to galleries and museums. They host galleries each semester for all students to submit their work and volunteer opportunities to help others.

They meet bi-weekly on Wednesdays from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. in , room 224. Contact the Art Guild at artsguildung@gmail.com

Art Club

The art club on the Gainesville campus provides students an opportunity to share in their appreciation for the arts and to expose and educate on campus and in surrounding community the importance and relevance of the arts. Members will learn to be more aware of the visual world through discussions, on-campus projects, and visits to local galleries.

Graphic Design Club

The Graphic Design club is diverse community of design thinkers and creatives. Their goal is to educate and provide resources to current students and encourage them to take preliminary steps in starting their graphic design careers. Members will get a chance to learn about design trends, gain information about internship and possible design career opportunities, connect and engage in design conversation.

Textile Art Group

The Textile Artist Group (TAG) is an organization whose goal is to make a creative and open space for students to express themselves through textile art. Members will have the opportunity to learn many textile art techniques through meetings on the Dahlonega Campus, as well as visits to local galleries, studios, and other creative spaces.
