You Should Know
- Purpose of statement - identify who to contact (POC) if user needs document in alternate format
- POC has - two days to respond to request; ten days to provide alternate format, keep user informed
- Who provides alternate format- your department with the assistance of the the ADA coordinator and the Office of Student Accessibility Services should work together to provide alternate format
- Remember - accessibility statement does not make your document Section 508 compliant
