The mission of the International Student Association is to educate the community, students, faculty, and staff about global issues, international students, and cultural diversity, through collaborate activities. ISA aims to promote and enhance international awareness, cultural diversity, and dialogue among international students across campuses. Often thought to be merely an organization strictly for international students, ISA is open to all and welcomes the diversity offered by all students. There is currently an opportunity for ISA on the Dahlonega and Gainesville campuses. Resident Assistants are trained student leaders who have the responsibility of supervising students living in a residence hall on-campus while having the opportunity to demonstrate the values of ¹û¶³´«Ã½ within the campus setting. More information regarding the selection process and timeline for RA staff can be found online.

Each year, the office of Orientation and Transition Programs seeks applicants for their multi-campus orientation team. They look for students that embody characteristics of servant leadership with strong communication skills and a desire to help all incoming students. These student leaders will connect students to the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ community, help them navigate campus resources, and prepare them for the academic rigor of college. It is important that Orientation Leaders represent a broad range of majors and interests reflective of the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ student population. Anyone interested in this type of opportunity should contact the Orientation and Transition Programs office.

The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA) assists and supports in all efforts to recruit and retain underrepresented students by providing special assistance with personal, social or academic concerns, as well as other guidance. The MSA office is home to multiple scholarships, student organizations, and a variety of student resources.

The leadership certificate is a non-credit, co-curricular based program created to develop a student’s leadership skills outside of their classroom setting.
