Finding the best database in GALILEO

In this video I will show you how to find the best database for your research.
So sometimes it is a better strategy to perform your research in a subject specific database rather than the Galileo search, because the Galileo search is pulling content for a wide range of databases.
In this first example, if you happen to know the name of a database you can look under the database's A to Z tab. You can search the database name, or you can click on a letter in the A to Z list. But keep in mind the search box under the database's A to Z tab is only for finding databases, so you won't be able to find articles or journals there.
In this example we're looking for the database "environment complete." So typing "environment" is enough to retrieve the link to the environment complete database.
If you don't know the name of a database best suited for your research, you can use the Browse by Subject feature to find databases on your research topic. From the Browse by Subject page, go down and select a subject. And in this case we choose science and technology, and then select a functional discipline.
The subject page features a set "try these first" databases at the top. See which one works best for your topic.
