Residence Life Handbook

Introduction & General Information

Welcome to the Residence Life Program at the University of North Georgia. We are excited about your arrival to our campus and are enthusiastic about the opportunities for fun, growth, and development that being a part of a residence hall can offer you.  The Office of Residence Life strongly believes that living on campus is an integral component of one’s educational experience at 果冻传媒.

果冻传媒 currently houses approximately 2,000 non-cadet residents on campus in one of three housing styles: traditional, suites, and apartments.

All double-occupancy traditional and suite-style residence hall rooms are furnished with two chest of drawers, two desks, two chairs, and two single beds. Beds in traditional halls and suite-style housing may be bunked if students prefer. Safety rails are provided for any raised bed. Traditional residence hall rooms also have two wardrobe units while suite-style rooms have two closets.

Owen Hall is a furnished apartment-style residence hall offering residents four private bedrooms, two shared bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. Owen Hall beds cannot be lofted.

Each residence hall room has wired network access and wireless Internet access. 果冻传媒 does not provide cable services, but residential students may choose to bring a casting device or smart TV to access service from their own streaming provider or the free movie channel provided by 果冻传媒's Residence Hall Association.
