The University of North Georgia (¹û¶³´«Ã½) Press, a scholarly, peer-reviewed press, is an extension of our sponsoring university, the University of North Georgia. Our primary function is to promote education and research with a special emphasis on innovative scholarship and pedagogy. Through our partnership with the , Affordable Learning Georgia (ALG), and eCore, the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Press is the leading university press in the state for  and Open Textbooks.

Our structure comprises an advisory and a faculty board with scholars across all disciplines. Board members serve a two-year term. Our partnership with ¹û¶³´«Ã½ provides a service-learning environment for students to gain real life experiences in publishing and marketing. These learning opportunities comprise (1) course work tied to ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Press projects, and (2) internships. Students are immersed in actual book production, from acquisitions to editing to layout and design.
