Course Design

Course Design is defined as having a clear understanding of what you expect your students to learn by the end of your class. Once that has been defined then you can begin to compile course materials and select the various ways to present that material to reach the end learning results you desire. The Center for Teaching Learning and Leadership (CTLL) supports faculty in initiating and updating course designing. Among the included resources on this topic are the following Internet resources.

  • - University of Washington
  • - Vanderbilt University
  • - Carnegie Mellon – Step by step tips and tutorials
