Math Tournament Overview
27th Annual 果冻传媒 Math Tournament

The 果冻传媒 Math Tournament competition features both individual and team events involving problems from calculus, trigonometry, geometry, statistics, and algebra. The tournament is open to colleges which offer an Associate of Science degree in the area of Mathematics.
This is an all-day event at 果冻传媒's Gainesville Campus.

Colleges which offer an Associate of Science degree in the area of Mathematics, or do not offer a Master’s or Ph.D. in Mathematics are eligible to register students for the tournament. Students must have a sponsor and must be currently enrolled in the college they are representing at the tournament. Students who are currently enrolled in or have completed any 3000 level Math course or higher, are NOT eligible to participate. (See exceptions below.) High Schools are NOT eligible to participate.
Exceptions: Students who have taken or currently are taking Differential Equations and/or Linear Algebra, may participate in the tournament even if these courses are numbered as 3000 level courses at their respective schools.
Note: Students under 18 will need to be accompanied by a team sponsor throughout the day.

- Just competing in a tournament at this level is an accomplishment.
- You get to meet students from other schools who also enjoy mathematics.
- Being on your school's math team will look good on your resume.
- It's a challenge. No Pain, No Gain.
- Getting ready for the tournament will help you learn calculus better.
- You might find out that you're smarter than you thought.
- You may learn something you didn't know.
- It's fun!
The University of North Georgia's Gainesville campus is located in Northeast Georgia. It is located six miles southeast of Gainesville on Mundy Mill Road (Highway 53) and near Exit 16 of Interstate 985.
Registration and breakfast will be in the . All morning and afternoon tournament events will be held in the . Lunch is tentatively scheduled to be held in the Student Center.

Lunch is included in the cost of registration. Sponsors will eat free.
All prizes are paid via check. Board of Regents Policy requires a Social Security number (SS#) for someone to received a check. Students who do not have a SS# will not receive a cash prize. In addition a W-9 and a "Vendor Application form" is required of each student that wins a prize. Please make sure your winners have filled out these forms, or have them to fill out before you leave the tournament.
Morning Individual Competition

Afternoon Team Competition
