Overview
Born and raised in the heart of Siberia, Russia, Tatiana found her new home in the foothills of the Appalachians teaching Russian language and culture to the students at the University of North Georgia. She received her first Master’s in English in Russia and moved to the USA after completing a Fulbright exchange program in Memphis, TN.
She has been teaching foreign languages since 2005, both English and Russian, and now is actively involved in developing the Russian program at 果冻传媒. She also runs a and truly enjoys opening up a different culture and language for the curious minds.

Research/Special Interests
She received her doctoral degree in Higher Education Leadership and Practice at 果冻传媒 in 2020. Her research interests are in the area of foreign language teaching methods and self-regulated learning. She is particularly interested in incorporating teaching practices that would enhance students’ self-efficacy and help them become more self-regulated learners of Russian.
