"When I think of what the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs means to me, I think of it as a nexus, where cultures, races, people of a unique perspective, and origins can come together and share a part of themselves without any reservations.
The MSA department is a space where students can be their unique individual selves, and find motivation by connecting with people similar to themselves. MSA is a center where students' perspectives are broadened through meaningful discourse from every walk of life.
I have learned new ideas through thoughtful conversations and friendly arguments. The MSA host a plethora of educational, cultural, and student focus programs that have enriched my overall academic experience. I have learned acceptance and tolerance through hundreds of conversations with men, women, and non-binary people from every part of the world. Through sharing our share love of humanity, this department has become not only a refuge but my home."

"A critical part of the college experience, and life in general, is meeting and engaging with people who have different backgrounds and life experiences than you.
By building relationships with diverse people through the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, I got a better understanding of the world around me. The office is always full of warm, friendly faces ready and excited greet you or pick you up when you’re down. MSA has become a second family for me, we celebrate each others successes and get each other through the hard times.
I encourage anyone that’s looking for personal growth and strong connections with people to spend some time in the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs."

"MSA has provided me the ability to connect with other Latinx students like me and interact with other underrepresented students.
Through the MSA Dahlonega and Gainesville offices, the faculty have supported me through scholarships, graduate school advice, and life in general.
Finally, I also got to serve Latinx refreshments to 果冻传媒 students to refresh their minds during finals week, and it was totally a fun supporting program to do for them!!!"

"The MSA student organizations have been such a positive experience for me at 果冻传媒. Their existence and the people I met through them are one of the reasons I chose to stay at 果冻传媒, and they have allowed me a place to be myself.
MSA has supported me by giving me a place to be myself and encouraging me to grow as a leader and person.
MSA probably has the most diverse student make up on this entire campus. Coming from a culturally and racially diverse background to one that was not, it was a bit of a culture shock. But, thanks to the existence of the MSA Office and its organizations, I feel a lot more at home."

"The services and opportunities the MSA office has offered have been life changing. I began here at 果冻传媒 not knowing any students, club, or any available programs. Once I came into the MSA office I was sincerely welcomed by the students and faculty. I was then introduced to the many MSA Student Organizations which I soon after became a member in. These organizations helped me create long-lasting friendships and experiences. I would’ve never been as involved here at 果冻传媒 as I am now if not for the MSA.
The programs and services the MSA office has offered has helped me tremendously during my time here at 果冻传媒. I’m grateful that all the services and programs are accessible to all students and me. I never hesitate to recommend the MSA Office anyone in need of anything because I know they will be welcomed and assisted right away.
I tell everyone I cross paths with to find me in the MSA office because I “literally” live there. There have been a few times in which I have been in the MSA Office 12 hours, and so I call it my home away from home. To many, including myself the MSA Office as a whole is not just a home away from home but a supportive family."

"MSA is a place where I can come and talk about my feelings or anything that is on my mind without being judged by everyone. It feels like a second home to me, I love how everyone in the office is friendly and is willing to give a hand to help anyone who needs it. The atmosphere is the office is very welcoming, how you could be having a bad day or need someone to vent to, there is someone who will be there to either help brighten up your day or be there to listen to you vent. At times, it is a great place to come if you need a break or a distraction when you are stressed out/overwhelmed by things.
Besides the MSA office, it did lead me to take up an officer position for a club called Asian Student Association. What I learned from this club is about the experience and finding out about skills I didn’t know about. My experience with the club has a been a journey where I get to meet new people and talk about different Asian cultures. I love it when the members are involved and interact with each other and make new friends. I’m just grateful for joining the club to be able to discover something new."
