You will use the same username and password to log in to a number of important university systems. Use the link to find your username and enroll in the password management system.

Once you have activated your ¹û¶³´«Ã½ account, for your security, all ¹û¶³´«Ã½ contact and correspondence will be sent to your ¹û¶³´«Ã½ email account. Please also use your ¹û¶³´«Ã½ email account when contacting ¹û¶³´«Ã½ faculty and staff. It is important to be checking this email consistently on a weekly or daily basis.

Please note: After a student is admitted, it may take up to 48 hours before the student's information is available to activate. If you are not able to activate your ¹û¶³´«Ã½ account after 48 hours, contact the IT Service Desk at 706-864-1922 for assistance with activation.

To guarantee your status as a graduate student at ¹û¶³´«Ã½, submit your confirmation of acceptance.  Log into this page using your ¹û¶³´«Ã½ ID number or Social Security Number, and your date of birth. Beneath your admissions decision, select “Confirmation of Acceptance”. Complete the form as appropriate. 

You will not have to pay a “confirmation” fee. You will only need to submit the form via your check application status page. 

Graduate students are encouraged to complete the prior to starting classes. These modules cover a variety of topics including ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Technology, Academic Information, Paying for College, Libraries and Research, and more vital onboarding information.

There is no charge for the online orientation. 

As a graduate degree seeking student, you may be eligible for some forms of financial aid. You may apply for federal financial aid at the F and J non-immigrant students are not eligible to apply for federal financial aid. ¹û¶³´«Ã½ offers a convenient payment plan through a third-party company to arrange monthly payments. If interested, students can enroll in the payment plan in Banner after class registration.

After submitting your financial aid application, you should be very pro-active in monitoring your eligibility and award status via your BannerWeb account.

Note: Students classified as non-degree or provisional admit types are not eligible for Federal Student Aid.

Special notes for graduate admits currently enrolled at another institution:

1. If you have already submitted your FAFSA for the academic year you will be attending ¹û¶³´«Ã½, you will need to go to to make a correction to your FAFSA by adding ¹û¶³´«Ã½'s school code: 001585
2. Loans at your prior school must be canceled before you can request any remaining loan funds from ¹û¶³´«Ã½. 
3. All final transcripts from prior schools must be submitted to ¹û¶³´«Ã½ before your financial aid eligibility is determined.

The Financial Aid Timeline is a helpful tool for all students.

Important Note: Although you can apply for most forms of aid at any time during the academic year, it is best to submit your application and all required supporting documents before the priority deadlines to ensure your aid can be processed and awarded prior to the start of term. 

• Fall Priority Deadline – February 14
• Spring Priority Deadline – November 1
• Summer Priority Deadline – April 1

Final official transcripts reflecting degrees awarded should be submitted as soon as possible before the start of the intended semester of enrollment. If this is not possible, you will have a hold placed on your student record and will not be allowed to proceed in the program beyond the first semester until an official transcript with the degree conferred is received by Graduate Admissions. 

If you were admitted based on an unofficial score report, official scores directly from the testing agency must be submitted and received. 

Many of our graduate students are required to register themselves for their coursework. Communicate with your academic advisor to determine what classes you need to take and if you are required to self-register.

Once you have chosen your classes, you should confirm your choices with your academic advisor and then register. If you have no holds, you can register prior to your academic advising appointment and then use the add/drop system to make any necessary schedule changes after meeting with your advisor. 

Run Degree Works again after you register. All of the classes you have registered for will show up as "IP." Make sure your courses are all there and that they fill a degree requirement.

All students are required to submit an immunization form (PDF) to the Student Health Services. If you are enrolling in a fully online (no campus visits) program, check the box for distance learning, sign and date and submit by embalming to stuhealth@ung.edu.

Students accepted to the DPT program only 

Entry-Level DPT and Post-Professional DPT: Complete the DPT immunization form (PDF) and submit by emailing the stuhealth@ung.edu.
